My submission to livingvoid, the followup to SIGNALVOID. Folk were asked for self-portraits in the form of a 1 minute long sound piece and an image. The track is a sound collage of who I was at the time, made from a recording of my band Shoogar playing at Doune The Rabbit Hole 2013, a couple of tunes I sang and played a lot, recordings of life in my flat and the people I lived with, and me saying “hi it’s me”. I feel the general noisy blur these parts make up reflect my circumstances at the time, living on the dole with no foreseeable future (but quite content with that). Pic is me playing with Shoogar wearing cool shorts, bits and bobs from the first Infinity Of 6 book, and now it’s the cover of this compilation too.
